It can be huge projects like skyscrapers, or a small house. I don't actually know to what extent they plan for things like the plumbing and wiring, but I think they have to do some of that. I assume they'd also need to be able to calculate weights and forces, in order to be able to design buildings that can (for example) hold up the roof . . . .<br><b>References : </b><br> architects design buildings. Of course the 4 years of college and then each state has an exam to be licensed in that state. They do have a hard time making a living though since it adds so much to the cost of building anything. Most people just can't afford that extra 20% or more!!!
