What is the best computer processor ever?
I have always wondered, what is the best computer processor ever made? Answers would be most helpful.
For Consumers,
Some might argue the Intel 80386 and others, the Intel Centrino/Pentium M (from 2004). This Centrino processor was actually a laptop processor, but it could be fitted into a 775 desktop slot with an adapter. It was the coolest (least amount of heat – 27W) processor of the planet, meaning it could be overclocked like crazy. It was a little known fact that this was the best gaming processor on the market for 18 months when overclocked and beat out every desktop CPU on the market at its time. Now, all Intel’s new processors are based off Centrino technology like the Core2 Duo and Core2 Quad.
In my opinion it revolutionized the CPU world as Ghz were not and no longer emphasized – instead efficiency and low heat output was.
intel 8088, without a doubt.

well to me it is how many processor make up the best processor out there? That’s all i say XD it would be nice to have the Intel Core 2 Quad and Intel Core 2 Duo together but I think it would be an little unstable i don;t know
